Feria de los Pueblos or international peoples fair, is here again. This year it will be from the 1st May. With a carnival style parade from the Ayuntamiento de Fuengirola (Fuengirola town hall)
Held at “Recinto Feria”. This extremely popular fair has been gaining momentum since the first one in 1994. A gastronomical delight takes you on a colourful, cultural, gastronomical journey around the world. This year 32 countries Each in their own “caseta”, will show off their music, food and drink. Each will have its own program of shows and dances typical of that country.
Entrance is free. excluding day 1. the 1st of May. The event begins at mid day and continues until you have had enough. Officially 4am
Marenostrum. virtually every weekend during the summer Fuengirola castle will host concerts from Spanish and international artists
Marenostrum Fuengirola is a unique location, listed as an Asset of Cultural Interest for its archaeological remains dating from the time of the Phoenicians, and with a privileged location on the beach.
It consists of two different spaces. The Sohail Castle, medieval fortress of the eleventh century with more than 1,000 years of history behind it, which is transformed into an exclusive stage for concerts with a maximum capacity of 2,400 people standing. And the slope of the Castle where the main stage is located that houses up to 18,000 spectators, with the Mediterranean Sea and the moon as a backdrop.

La Feria. Every town and village in Andalucia has its own feria or fair. The summer annual feria originated in the middle ages, and was the principal means of interchange of local products within the kingdom. The first feria takes place at Seville in April (two clear weeks after Semana Santa) and the last is at San Pedro de Alcántara in mid-October.
The Fuengirola Feria begins on the streets of Fuengirola ending up at the “Recinto Feria” at the beginning of October. The town will take a holiday, shops closed, streets closed, the local people dressed in traditional attire, some on horseback, the streets and bars buzzing with an atmosphere unique to Andalucia as families and friends gather to enjoy this once a year, six-day period of traditional festivities (6th 12th October. To be confirmed)
The Recinto Feria will host bars, music and dance until the early hours of the morning. There is also a fair ground at the entrance to La Feria with rides for children and adults.
